MINUTES OF GENERAL MEETING OF THE ROUND HILL - DODDS AGRICULTURE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION HELD AT THE ROUND HILL RECREATION HALL ON APRIL 15, 2008

The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. by the past president, Bernhard von Tettenborn who introduced Kyle Nahirniak, the new president to the members. Kyle outlined the purpose of the general meeting after noting that a quorum was present. Don Mallon, Rhonda King and Susan Abells were recognized as guest speakers.

The Minutes of the last Annual Meeting held on November 15th, 2007 were read by Jane Oracheski, the recording secretary, who moved for their adoption as read. Seconded by Clayton Maurer. Carried.

Kyle Nahirniak then introduced the By-Laws which are to be changed by Special Resolution of the membership. A complete list was printed in the Newsletter

Moved by Kyle Nahirniak. seconded by Bernie von Tettenborn that By-Law 10 be changed.

Since we had a resignation of one of the Directors, Owen Forster, the floor was opened for nominations: Bernie nominated Mathew Banack. Casmer Oracheski nominated Murray Graham. Marjorie Nahirniak moved nominations cease, Walter Riediger seconded. Ballots were distributed.

Don Mallon provided all the attendees with a "Regulatory Road Map" document which outlined the entire process of the application to the EIA/EPEA/ ERCB/AUC By Sherritt. He explained the early stage negotiations in detail and spoke of the steps already taken by RH DAPA . Question period followed.

Kyle Nahirniak informed the membership that Mathew Banack had been elected, and moved that the ballots be destroyed. Jane Oracheski seconded the motion.

Rhonda King addressed the meeting and introduced Susan Abell who has been contracted by the Department of the Environment to address the concerns of the areas affected by resource development. The East Central Alberta Cumulative Effects Project will address the effects of all projects on a regional level. There will be a meeting on May 29th where they will ask for input as to our vision of the future if the mine project proceeds. A question period followed.

Kyle Nahirniak moved the meeting adjourn. Carried.
